As a community member who has worked in animal rescue and advocacy for years, I have become aware of the stranglehold this organization has on local rescues and non-profits, at the detriment to the animals they are supposed to be helping. After being inundated with stories from other community members and seeing firsthand how little support they offer the community yet continue to receive millions in funding and donations, I decided to create a platform to give these animals and the people who help them a voice.
